Systemic Organisational ConstellationOrganisations and communities are made of small and large, interconnected networks of relationships. The human dynamics at work in them are frequently unseen, yet have substantial impact on results. It's not always easy to see these dynamics, especially when one is fully immersed in it. A tool is needed to make it visible, and systemic organisational constellation is made for that. The complexity of factors that have to be considered to arrive to sustainable solutions in every area is staggering. So is the speed with which the mix of those factors is changing. The analytical mind skills are no longer sufficient to illuminate rapidly moving situations. Systemic Constellation is a tool for gaining deeper insights into the hidden, intangible dynamics of organisational and inter-organisational life, by using a spatial representation of a system. The components of the system, and their relations, are spatially visualized. They can be people, functions, products, ideas, tasks, strategies, or resources. Their constellation is portrayed by their 'representatives', which can be people or objects. After the diagnostic phase, the facilitator elicits new constellations of the representatives, aiming at bringing more of the desired qualities in the client's system. Using mental, emotional and intuitive knowing, constellation work often creates unexpectedly fresh solutions. It can help discovering new pathways and new patterns of performance, in a short time. The dynamics that are revealed are sometimes surprising. The integration of contrasts and paradoxes is a hallmark of systemic organisational constellation. It is that what makes it so valuable in working with the higher complexity we are confronted with these days. Systemic organisational constellation is a radical innovation in the field of organisational transformation work. It is an innovation, also in the sense of the relatively low level of resources it requires compared with other approaches.
