Etienne Wenger

Etiene Wenger is one of the leading social learning theorists most known for his work in the field of the communities of practice. As a social theorist, he developed (with Jean Lave) the theory of situated cognition. He co-taught the first online course on communities of practice with George Pór of CommunityIntelligence, in 1998.
